Jason Clark
Pastor Jason and Christy Clark founded Greater Grace Apostolic Church in 2001. Their ministry stems from a love of their town, Oakland City, Indiana, where Pastor Clark attended Oakland City University. Home Bible studies began in 2000, and the ministry quickly grew to occupy its first building in a store front in 2001.
Pastor Clark has Bachelor's Degrees in Math Education and Music and a Master's of Arts in Education from Oakland City University. He has been a licensed minister through the United Pentecostal Church International since 2001. He is currently the Indiana Section 8 Secretary, and he previously spent 12 years as the Indiana Section 8 Home Missions Director. Along with being a pastor, he has been a teacher for over 25 years; he teaches Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and AP Calculus at Princeton High School and College Algebra at Vincennes University.
Sister Clark has been involved in church ministry nearly her entire life. She attended Indiana Bible College, where she took classes such as Christilogy and religious education. She was in the college choir and chorale, which is a select group of singers that perform around Indianapolis and in a tour twice a year. She also traveled with the Ministerial Student Association, which allows for hands-on ministry experience at churches around the country. In the years before she moved to Oakland City, she was very involved with her church in Lexington. She was the full-time organist, sang in the choir, and directed the children's choir. She was the Academic Supervisor at UPC Academy and organized several annual events, such as talent shows, Christmas programs, and awards ceremonies. At Greater Grace, Sister Clark is the Music Director and directs the choir. In 2011, she won a contest through the Tupelo Children's Mansion that allowed her to record an album containing 11 original songs. She often shares her original music with the congregation. On top of church ministry, she currently keeps herself involved in the community by working at the Oakland City Public Library.
Pastor and Sister Clark have been married since 1998 and have three children - Casey, Shelby, and Gentry. They have enjoyed God's blessings in pastoring this growing congregation and look forward to future growth and revival. They desire to minister to this community, lead families to Christ, and provide training to leaders to impact this generation with the Gospel.
